When did you first get involved in rallying and how did you get started?
I first got involved in rallying in 1990. I was doing navigational road events at my local car club in Stirling. I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time when asked to step up to do a forest event to help out Duncan Jaffray, a regular competitor in the Scottish Rally Championship. After that one event we did, I sat beside him for the next 9 seasons.

Life away from rallying?
To relax, I play golf, squash and snooker and listen to music. I also enjoy the outdoor life and visiting the many great spots of my home country, Scotland.
